R.I.P. Theme Shoppe, 2008-2011
After three years, I’ve decided to finally close the virtual doors of my Theme Shoppe. Given my prolonged silence in these parts for the past few months and my inactivity with BlackBerry theme development, this announcement should come as no real surprise. Nonetheless, I am very proud of the corpus of BlackBerry themes I designed and developed over the years. Good luck to those still developing visual eye-candy for this platform.
Although my ‘Theme’ Shoppe will be no more, I still have great plans for my Shoppe. More details to come at a later date. 
5 Months Later
Wow! I can’t believe that it’s been five months since my last blog post. Madness! I blame Twitter…and the zombie apocalypse. Those who follow me (stalkers! …j/k) on the big blue bird already know that I finally made ‘the switch’ in October to an iPhone 4, and I couldn’t be happier. It truly is everything that I could have ever wished for in a smartphone, and then some.
As a result of the ‘test drive’ experience I had with my sister’s old iPhone earlier this year, I did not encounter the learning curve most individuals face whilst switching device platforms and such. Moreover, I found the out-of-box experience with my iPhone to be virtually painless. However, even given all my months of preparations for this switch, I was still blown away when I unboxed my iPhone 4 and turned it on. RETINA DISPLAY. That feature alone deserves its own (fragmented) sentence and cap lock abuse, seriously. As I like to call it, retina display is ultimate clarity packaged in a big bag of awesome sauce.
Smartphone euphoria aside, it should be noted that due to my platform switch and the fact that my theme muse ditched me months ago, I am no longer designing new BlackBerry themes. Nonetheless, my Shoppe will remain open for those who are interested in purchasing any of the high-quality, designer themes featured within its cyber brick-and-mortar walls.
Driven BB Theme Series
That “never say never” attitude is back with a vengeance with my new theme series Driven. The series consists of three themes: iCreate, iGrow and iHope, all of which act as sequels of sort to my previously released iOS-inspired theme, iReflect. All three themes are available exclusively in the Shoppe for $5.75 each.

iPhone Here I Come
For those individuals following me on Twitter this blog post will come as no big surprise. However, others may be shocked and possibly brazen enough to brand me as a ‘traitor’ after reading this post, lol. Whatever the case may be, let it be known beforehand that these are simply my opinions about the current state of the smartphone market and so on.
